just watched a video of this lady eating a live octopus and im pretty.....ugh about it. guess the worst of the world is really humans. (myself included of course) like when she tried to pull the head up itll suck itself on whichever surface it was on. and after it was obviously trying to get away. (she flung it several times too cos she was scared) but omg. how can anyone eat any living thing live. when u see it breathing, moving, escaping. and its real bad when u know that there's no escaping the octopus's destiny.
previously i watched an episode of family outing and they went to catch a duck for their meal. THEN the guy was cradling the duck when the whole cast was deciding how to eat it. RIGHT IN FRONT OF SAID DUCK. yea i know he/she prolly wont understand but o.m.g. can u imagine being cuddled by some monster while that guy decided how best to cook you.
i usually have this kinda slight disgust with humans when i see this kinda things. i say slight cos i still cant give up my meat and i have not much (no) rights to comment on the cruelty of it all. like how i hate foie gras and sharksfin yet how can i criticise people who eats them when i still eat my meat. for that i admire ann who doesnt eat meat for that very reason. its like somewhere in the back of my mind i know this is wrong. how much that animal on the dinner plate must have suffered to be there but then its oh my this is so delicious i cant think of anything else but the yummy. (and also. that it appears dead and cooked.) its a cruel dilemma. the strongest survive. thats how true that is.
and that fishing i did once back in indo. that is one mighty cruel sport. though sad to say. i thought it fun. but i shall not ever fish again. to see the other being struggling while you try to subdue it, when it has done nothing wrong to you. wouldnt you feel guilty?
