ah. the wonders of touch. the best thing i ever did in TJ was to join touch rugby and to understand this game. even though i wasnt strong enough to continue for nus. to appreciate the magic of this sport is wonderful.

anyway. this person on fb just posted some cool touch video and i started to search for a few other videos on youtube. not alot have good video shots though but i got remembered of this amazing game.

a sport like no other. cos it involves more than just another physical athletic prowess anyone might have. sure its a benefit to be tall (might be a vice too), a benefit to be able to run fast but it doesnt set a player's skills due to that. and. the magic!: ACTING. totally unrelated to sports yet so important in touch. basically u can fake anything. just look confident enough and uve got the opponents in your hands. of course they might guess your trick after awhile too so its so complex! for e.g. the above video: tt other girl running in from the left didnt even have the ball. but she just ran straight into the gaps like shes gonna do something and shes got the defenders going for her. aint it awesome? (haha. i think i made it sound too easy. when i saw my senior doing it last time, each time she succeed i feel so much admiration towards her. there's this term called sidestep. which is kinda like pretending youre going to the left when ure going to the right. (seems like it might be used for bball too, sounds plausible) hah. but its awesome when u succeed cos each time u make the defender ready to run in a direction its hard to change their direction and there u have it!

ok i dont think anyone understands what i just typed unless u play touch. but oh yes i just think its amazing. hahahs. i wna go watch a touch rugby game!!! sadly, its not a game tt u can just ask anyone to play.

and my 3rd-4th Dec went well. hahas. sorry for im lazy to blog bout it!
