happy new year!

alright..happy new year everyone!
my neighbours just did the countdown but my house is dark and quiet...would be nice to feel the new year atmosphere...but my siblings are out and parents asleep...the only light comes from the computer room...how lonely....:(....haha..oh yes...the neighbours just shouted happy new year to the whole condo community....and i think different families are replying happy new year to each other through the windows...the 1,2,3 oso can be heard...okok....happy new year to u back....it sounds fun over ur side...lalala
a sleepover wud be nice now....
hmm..ushering in the new year...this new year's gonna be harder to bear than last...i have to be prepared...
i shld not do a reflection of 2008 but hopes for the new year....
like my A levels..im pretty terrified about it..!!!
and my braces..another horrifying thing...
and the future..
and also the future...
and again the future...
and they all refer to different things...
2008 has nothing much to be afraid about cos ultimately our main goal is just to study well for A levels...
but now..its really out of the sheltered life into the world...
no more subsidised bus rates...
no more just following steps and studying...
no more parents supplying so much pocket money...
no more procrastinating about future courses...
its a step into a brand new chapter of life...
ive been pretty well-protected all this time...too protected in my opinion....
im really not looking well into what the future might bring
i need to find the direction of my life..im still at a loss..its just a big question mark above my head..
so frustrating..i so wish i have a definite goal in life and not be such loser over here..
2008 has been rather kind to me...and i dun have the same confidence as to what 2009 would bring..i never even thought so much for 2008 when it was tt new year...
and im probably just making things serious here...
have a great year ahead..:)
